The Calvin and Hobbes Tenth Anniversary Book: More than just Another Collection
Pros: Wonderful insight into the origins and inspirations of Calvin and Hobbes. Cons: I would have liked 500 pages instead of 200. Bottom Line: Calvin and Hobbes: A Boy and His Tiger
Pros: It's Calvin and Hobbes! What more do you want? Cons: It's not long enough! Bottom Line: t-p¡n¡n: tipu interviews Bill Watterson, creator of Calvin and Hobbes
Pros: File under: cannot be categorized Cons: You try to draw and write a cartoon perfect from the start, Mr. Michelangelo Dickens! Bottom Line: A Boy and His Tiger
Pros: Wit and deep feeling, all rolled up in a mischievous six year old Cons: Same as everyone elses. Bill Watterson stopped writing. Bottom Line: Ah, To Be 6 Forever
Pros: Calvin's Perspective, Watterson's Narration Cons: Watterson Stopped Writing Philosophy for Big Kids
Pros: Very funny, sardonic, dry humor. Cons: No new stuff - Bill Watterson retired. Bottom Line: It confirmed Calvin is a theologian.
Pros: You can buy it for your kids. Cons: They will not let you read it until they are finished Just when you thought Calvin and Hobbes were no more...
Pros: A new insight into an old favorite, C&H though the eyes of it's creator. Cons: No new strips. Bottom Line: I will MISS Calvin and Hobbes...
Pros: HILARIOUS ... yet thought provoking Cons: Calvin and Hobbes aren't around anymore... =( "I Hate Baths" and "G.R.O.S.S"
Pros: I don't know if I can list them all. this strip is funny, intuitive, and just the biggest laugh you can pack into a sunday paper... that is before 1996. Cons: May not be the best thing for a child under 10 to get a hold of... it doesn't teach things appropriate for them, if they try to copy Calvin it could be a disaster =o) |
